Tutorial: Knitted Pikachu Tail Tie

Published:
1.2K Views

Description

While looking for other knitting projects to do, I stumbled across a tutorial on making a zigzag tie: [link]
In the comments, someone said it made her think of Pikachu's Tail. Of course I had to knit a Pikachu Tail version. Red zigzag? Pah! Pikachu's tail is WAAAY more fun.

inb4 use tailwhip

Fair warning: I'm only a beginner knitter so I don't know most terms! I don't know the brand of yarn or gauge I used. I didn't pay much attention OTZ But you'll need to go with thick yarn, I think I went with worsted here.
And I wrote this tutorial two weeks after finishing the tie so there may be some variations and modifications here and there. OTZ

Adapted from ATTILAtheHUNgry's Instructable, which is actually pretty cool and fun: [link]
