5 things about myself (that you probably already know)
I don't like having to explain/elaborate on my viewpoints. Partly because I don't know how to, but other times because I feel that my explanations take too long and people will just stop listening to me (making the explanation moot).
I actually have a hard time working with "cool" colors, especially blue and purple XD

Manga > Anime!  I only watch anime when the anime is ahead of the manga version, like Durarara!!! and APH (which I am very very behind on now, manga and anime wise).

Questions

1. What is your definition of love?
A thing that is (ideally) unconditional, the ultimate goal in life. Something that is shared with someone.
A feeling for someone, happiness, respect, the feeling of enjoying someone's company.
A dedication to something, the one thing you would never give up for anything else in life.
Something that is different and unique to everyone. It can never be properly defined for this reason.

2. Do you feel the world today would be better off without religious beliefs?
Beliefs, no. Religious beliefs, I doubt there would be a difference. Religion or not, there are still assholes of all sorts out there. Some just use religion as an excuse (God made me do it). I like to believe that there is some form of higher being up there, mostly because then I don't feel so alone. Other people have their reasons for their beliefs, religious or not.
Religion is, vaguely speaking, a set of beliefs, just shared by a larger group of people.

3. Do you feel you stride to be the best you can be day by day? If not, why?
No, all I do is sit around in the basement tap-tap-tapping on my laptop all day long (with the occasional DDR or artsing).

4. What are you views on the educational system in the United States? Why are your views what they are?
Sucks. My favorite is the hype about Hunger Games then the piss storm on how Rue is black in the movie when Rue is described as having dark brown skin. www.thehollywoodgossip.com/201… again, the article describes this batch of people as a minority, so not all Americans have poor reading skills. Hopefully.

Still, at least they read. Reading comprehension is the next step. Big step. Need do. Should do. Must do.

(I still don't get what the hype is about Twilight - story about a wolf falling in love with a sheep? That's it? No subliminal messages or anything like The Hunger Games?)

5. Who is your favorite artist? (preferably on deviantART).

They're just a few - I'm conservative of who I watch on dA by nature, so that I only watch the best (imo) ^^

Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy Dissidia), Rubicante (Final Fantasy 4), Rhyme (The World Ends With You), Meta Knight (Kirby series)

7. What were some major changes in your life? Did someone influence you in this change? If so, how?
I think it was that turnaround from being depressed about not having a boyfriend to being "if I can't have a boyfriend then I'm going to fucking make myself fucking happy and I'm not going to be crying in my bed like some miserable piece of shit". If it wasn't for that moment, I don't think I'd be as happy/content as I am today.
It was actually an article that first made me notice this. The one line in the article went something like "No one can bitch about how many shoes you have". In my case, that would be games.
But it was who made me realize that you can still be happy and proudly so even without that special person in your life, because yes there are other special people out there, not just a significant other. You know why? Because she made it so. She is someone that has gone through many hardships and have been hurt, but she still pulled it through and even more. Thank you Koge, because of you, I know that I can and should watch out for myself and not just mope around on how unfair the world is.

8. Can you name inspirational people either in your life or in the world, both deceased or living?
Kogepan! <3 Doesn't matter if she's not famous, but she's been an inspiration to me and that's why I'm gonna go visit her!

9. What career or job would you love to enroll in? Why?
Oh gosh, background designer/artist or a monster designer/artist for games would be fun @.@ Maybe just backgrounds. I'm limited with little critters!

10. Say your adopted or have a step-mother or step-father, does someone really have to be biological to you to be your parent? Why?
I'd rather have a loving foster parent/step-mother/step-father/guardian than a deadbeat biological parent. I don't want to have a miserable childhood, and I know for sure no child deserves one either.

I liked sapphires and I liked playing as a warrior class. The sapphires part doesn't really hold true today, but I still prefer playing as a melee fighter class given the choice XD I joined in 2004...ish?

Fandom..? Like fanfics? None at this moment and none in the past xD

68, I'd suspect half of them are inactive now, though.

Also, strangely enough, the smell of the metro interior. I have a friend who told me that a certain mechanic is greased in peanut oil. No wonder it smells so amazing down there.

I have to hurry up and dye some fabric blue so I can get on with the Rubicante costume already! Or maybe I should get started on the mask. Either way, it needs to be done. BUT! Exams! No, a report for a course and a presentation for another! That needs to be done first... ahh I just want the presentation to be overwith already >< 12 page report? Fine by me. FINAL EXAMS!? Sure, bring it on!

But presentations... I'd rather wash the JMSB floor using a bucket of water, soap, and a brush. >< Bring an audience, I don't care, but I do not like presentations at all! Ech...

Eeee and I'm so excited I'll be back with light-weight costumes again <3 Not that WoL wasn't enjoyable, but I'm really glad to be getting back to something that isn't heavy ^^

As the title says, I'm not going to Anime North this year as hoped - the schedule and budget constraints dictate it so.

The Rubicante mask is kind of scary to make... I'll have to be careful with the measurements... OH IDEA! I want a fitted mask, but I don't want to rip it off, so I'll just sew velcro in the back of the mask so I won't risk tearing the mask, and it can still be sorta-kinda fitted ^^ Of course, BREATHING is still going to be an issue... I can always just poke two holes in the fabric for my nose XD

I sound like a terrible planner, "fit the mask first, then figure out how to breathe" XD
